Famous Egyptian Cartoons

Egyptian cartoons have a long and varied history. During the 1970s and 1980s, Egyptian cartoonists produced a variety of cartoons for Egyptian magazines, including Rose Al-Youssef, Sabah Al-Kheir, and Al-Ahram newspaper. Cartoonists like Jaheen often drew provocative images that brought about a cultural change. In one famous series, the narrator Abu Al-Mafhomia mocked a social taboo.

Bakkar

Bakkar is one of the most famous Egyptian cartoon characters. He is a Nubian child who lives in southern Egypt with his goat Rashida. In the series, Bakkar takes on new adventures with his friends. He collects gravel to finish two statues, tries to catch thieves, and even sends Rashida to meet his friends Adel and Abbas.

Bakkar’s show was first aired in 1997. It was a hit when it debuted and became a symbol of Egyptian artistic production and nationalist themes. The cartoon series also included the Alam Semsem World series and the Semsem World series. These shows were popular with younger generations. Mish-Mish Effendi is a famous Egyptian cartoon character. The cartoon was a big hit in Egypt, and it became a national star. Several Egyptian companies hired the brothers Frenkel to produce commercials featuring the character. The Egyptian government also made use of the cartoon to spread its message. The Egyptian ministry of agriculture purchased a film in which Mish-Mish teaches Egyptians how to handle cotton crop parasites. Moreover, the Ministry of defense asked the brothers to make a film in which they call on Egyptians to strengthen the army. The Frenkel brothers received the Egyptian national medal for their efforts.

In Ancient Egypt, a boy named Snoohy and his best friends Haby and Titi-Sheri played childish adventures. These adventures took place seven thousand years ago. These cartoons have been adapted into a mini-series. They feature five mini-detectives who are best friends.

Bassant w Diasty

Famous Egyptian cartoons featuring Bassant w-Diasty feature popular Egyptian actors and actresses. The 3D animated cartoon series is about a couple from Upper Egypt who become superheroes and solve crimes. They use modern technology to save the day. The series stars comedian Mohamed Henedi as the hero and his sidekick, Sal’aat, played by Talaat Zakaria.
