TRIUMPH TE-1 unveiled: What Should You Know

Triumph (Harga Motor Triumph) has recently unveiled its new electric motorbike, the TRIUMPH TE-1, which has been designed and developed by a number of British companies and universities in addition to the brand itself. The TE-1 is equipped with a frame that is designed to be used as a motorcycle.

The TE-1’s frame was developed in-house, the battery system was designed by Williams Advanced Engineering, the power department of the famous F1 team Williams, and the electric power was developed by Integral Powertrain and integrated with the University of Warwick. The TE-1 has many similarities to the Speed Triple series in terms of its appearance, except for the classic shape of the powertrain, which produces 177ps, compared to the 190ps of the Suzuki Hayabusa Hayabusa announced this year, which shows its strong performance attributes.

TRIUMPH TE-1 has made great progress in just over a year since the hand drawings were revealed in March 2021, and this speed of development is also due to the excellent partners TRIUMPH has found and the well-planned division of labor. Williams Advanced Engineering provided the software for the battery pack and control unit; Integral Powertrain Limited provided the electric motor and transmission module, and the University of Warwick provided the simulation system to ensure that everything worked.

The latest video reveals that the TRIUMPH TE-1 has already been tested on the motor and track, and the official acceleration sound of the TE-1 has been released. The final performance figures will be revealed on 12 July!
