What is a good laptop to play League of Legends on?
Most laptops these days are capable of running League of Legends just fine. There are some things to consider though. In general, a 15″ screen size is preferred. Also, a computer with at least a 3rd gen Intel core processor is recommended. These computers are the fastest ones, and they are much more efficient at gaming. This article will help you choose the right one for you.
- A cheap gaming laptop won’t be able to run the most recent games for you. You’ll need a computer that has the RAM to support high-end gaming like LoL and a decent GPU that will provide smooth gameplay.
- Don’t worry about portability. If it doesn’t work in the first place, you can always bring your computer somewhere else if you really have to. Remember, LoL is a multiplayer game that has an internet connection requirement.
- If you are looking for something with great design but at a cheap price, then ASUS is definitely a good choice. It is also equipped with Intel Iris Pro Graphics, which allows it to handle 4K displays without lag and produce great visuals.
- With this in mind, the Asus ROG G74SV is one of the best laptops for playing LoL. This model features a 17-inch 1080p screen, a powerful NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of solid-state storage, all for a price of just $1,000.
- Another great option is the Razer Blade Pro which comes with 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a powerful NVIDIA GTX 1080 GPU for $1,299.
If I asked you this question, you would likely say something along the lines of: “You need a laptop with a powerful GPU.” But, here are some things to consider before making a purchase:
Screen size: 1080p is ok for league of legends.
Battery life: The longer the battery lasts the more time you will have in-game. Remember, if you’re playing an FPS game or RTS, you should be able to play for at least 4-6 hours before needing a charge.
Processor: Do you need a dual-core processor? (Intel i7 or AMD phenom) With that processor, do you need 8GB of RAM? How much power does the processor use?
GPU: Some laptops come with a powerful dedicated GPU. You can get by with a mid-range card for other laptops. A dedicated GPU uses less power, which means it will last longer between charges. This will depend on how heavy your gaming gets.
Keyboard: Does the keyboard come with a touchpad? Do you want a full-sized keyboard? Most gamers are fine with a regular keyboard, however, I am not a fan of typing with my thumb.
Can laptops run League of Legends?
Many people believe that League of Legends cannot be played while using a laptop. They are wrong. If you are familiar with LoL and you’re thinking about switching to the game from something else, don’t let them stop you! If you’re worried about your performance, then you can go ahead and join. There’s no reason why you can’t play while you study.
